It is difficult to get motivated to exercise, for those of us that have extreme difficulty, there are some sneaky tricks that we can do to make exercise more manageable.
One of the easiest ways for you to be able to get enough physical exercise so that you can maintain your health is to make exercise almost effortless. Most people that decide to exercise go all out with exercise programs and end up burning themselves out or hurting themselves just a short time after they began. This is not only counterproductive as far as fitness exercise is concerned; but it leads to sore muscles, can cause injury and actually leads to exercise aversion. StretchingStretching is a great way to begin home exercise. Stretching increases range of motion and can actually make exercise more comfortable by making the body more limber.The way that an isometric stretch is done is that you stretch your body part along with providing resistance in one way or another. A good example is if you are stretching out your calf, you could use a towel on the bottom of your foot in order to increase the stretch. After about 10 seconds of stretching, push against the resistance with all of your might for two to three seconds. Relax your body totally for one second and then continue into the stretch. This is just as effective as having a home gym and less expensive as no special exercise equipment is needed. Other forms of effortless exercise can be found in everyday activity. Once you read a few of these, you’ll be able to think of others. And the best part is that you don't need any special exercise machine or exercise treadmill. No Exercise Equipment NeededParking Your Car – Park further away from the entrance to work or to the store. The few minutes that you will spend walking into the store and out again are going to add up to a lot of exercise over time. This can take the place of treadmills, elliptical exercise, and exercise bike. Gardening- Gardening is a combination of exercise types because of the wide variety of activities involved. There is bending, lifting, stretching, and walking. Gardening is just as effective as a pilates exercise rountine. Clean Your House - Housecleaning is one of the best ways of stretching, and lifting. To make things more interesting, put on some music and dance to igreatest exercises that you can do for a number of different reasons. First of all, it is an activity that needs to be done regularly. Like gardening, a number of different exercise types are involved such as bending as you clean. Make Exercise FunEnjoy Your Children - Your kids are fill of boundless energy and can be a great source of exercise for you. Take them to the park and push them on the swings or play Frisbee.. Pitching horseshoes is a great family game and excellent exercise. Not only will you enjoy some exercise but also your family bond will grow as a result of the increased togetherness Dancing - Dancing is a fantastic form of exercise and is a lot of fun at the same time. To make it easy and fun put on some music at home and dance. If you feel silly doing this then be silly. The sillier the better; wiggle like a worm, flap like a chicken, you get the idea. This is going to be strenuous activity but you will not recognize it as being exercise. It is also a great way for you to spend some family time and almost everybody will enjoy doing it. Or if you prefer the more dignified approach, take formal lessons. Don't Use the Phone - Instead of picking up the phone and calling somebody that is on the other side of the office, get up and walk over to where he is to talk to him. Even this small bit of activity will add up over time.
