Now is the time to get outdoors and enjoy yourself while being physically active


Hello everyone, I hope you enjoyed your holiday with a hint of moderation at the BBq's. I live in Chicago and went to an event call "The Taste of Chicago". It's where a number of restaurants come together and offer samples from their menus in the Grant Park area. There are a lot of hungry people in Chicago based on the turnout (it lasted 10 days). I sampled quite a few items with the help of other willing mouths and stomachs, we shared the samples. This allowed me to taste quite a bit of what was offered.

Summer is a time for fun and festivities, a time to get out and get away, enjoying the weather and all the things that summer brings. I would just like to offer the following: indulge in foods and spirits in moderation, it's a long summer, and do be careful in all your outdoor activities. Spend some time doing things that will enhance your fitness level like hiking. biking, rollerblading, swimming, volleyball, tennis, basketball or just walking. There are many ways to improve your current fitness level and this is a great time to do it. Until next time, have fun, enjoy and be safe!!
